Create and edit a goal

Tell your connected agent what you’re trying to achieve. It can help you write a goal and save it in Gravity.

Write a new goal#

Try:

Help me create a Gravity goal to meet seed investors who back developer tools. Share it with Founders dinner.

Your agent should make the wording and audience clear before saving. If you haven’t chosen a group, it should ask; the default is to keep the goal private.

You can add details that help Gravity search while keeping them private:

Keep the fundraising numbers in my private details, not in the wording the group can read.

Saving a new goal starts a search. You don’t need to ask for another one right away.

Change a goal later#

Try:

Update my investor goal to focus on Series A investors. Keep its audience and private details the same.

Or:

Keep searching Founders dinner’s networks, but hide this goal from that group.

Your agent should resolve the exact goal and change only what you asked for. It can read current state when needed and use an optional version precondition. If someone changed it in the meantime, it should show you what changed before trying again.

End a goal#

When you no longer need help with an outcome, you can ask your agent to end that goal. Its introduction chats will be archived and become read-only. Ending can’t be undone; you can create a new goal later.
